Applications for the following awards will open in early September:

• Professor Alberto Abecasis Manzanares
• Professor João Martins
• Professor Manuel da Costa Lobo
• Professor Edgar Cardoso
• Arquiteto Álvaro Machado   

These awards aim to encourage students of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Territorial and Urban Planning courses to obtain a solid training in the scientific areas in which the awards are included. At the same time, they pay homage to former DECivil Professors who distinguished themselves for their contributions to scientific and technological progress, teaching generations of students and professional activity in their respective areas.

The respective regulations, public notices and registration form are available (link), and it is expected that it will be delivered on the 19th of October, at the commemorative ceremony for the beginning of the 2023/2024 school year.

DECivil encourages all its students who are able to do so to participate in the competition.
