Professor and students of DECivil in Futurália

Futurália began on March 20th at the Lisbon International Fair, Parque das Nações, and was attended by Técnico students and Professors to promote the School's training offer until the It ends on March 23rd.

The Integrated Master in Architecture was represented by students Clara Keil Amaral, Francisca Sampaio and Filipa Ferreira on March 20th and by students Joana Bento and Tomás Ribeiro on March 23rd. These were accompanied by a model of work carried out by students on the respective course.

The representation of the Bologna Degree in Civil Engineering included Professor Carlos Tiago and student Clara Silva on March 21st and Professor Carlos Tiago and student João Pegas on March 23rd. These were accompanied by a portable seismic table that illustrated the effect caused in reduced models of two buildings by accelerations at their base. The interest that the course arouses led to many students and parents clarifying the most diverse doubts about its operation, professional opportunities, areas covered, etc.

During March 21st, Professor Carlos Tiago and student Clara Silva received distinguished visits from His Excellency, the President of the Portuguese Republic, Professor Doctor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the President General Council of the University of Lisbon, Engineer Carlos Alberto Brito Pina.
