Gala dinner of the XI Jornadas de Civil

As part of the celebration of the success of the XI Edition of the Jornadas de Civil, organized by the Fórum Civil, on March 22nd, at the headquarters of the Região Sul da Ordem dos Engenheiros, a Gala dinner took place.

This Gala was attended by members of the Order of Engineers, the Executive Committee of the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil), Ceris, representatives of MAPEI, one of the Platina sponsor companies, DECivil Professors and former members and colleagues of the Fórum Civil. Among the DECivil Professors Rafaela Cardoso, Dídia Covas, Helena Ramos, Ana Paula Falcão, Marta Gomes, Luís Guerreiro, Alexandre Pinto, António Gago, Luís Calado and Carlos Tiago were present.

The Gala began with the opening session, where Engineers Rita Moura, Vice-President of the Região Sul da Ordem dos Engenheiros and Daniel Silva, Board member of the Região Sul da Ordem dos Engenheiros, spoke, followed by Professor Luís Guerreiro, Member of the Executive Committee of DECivil at IST and students Rafael Francisco, Inês Mesquita Lopes and João Delgado, the Presidency of Fórum Civil (President, Vice-President and Treasurer, respectively).

After the interventions, the Gala dinner took place.

Asked to comment on this event, the Communication and Image Coordinator of Fórum Civil, student Victoria Freitas, said the following:

"We want to thank the Order of Engineers of the Southern Region for their collaboration and cooperation in holding the Gala and for welcoming us so well.

We would also like to thank the teachers, MAPEI representatives and former members for being present with us at this dinner.

And a special thanks to all the participants in this edition of Jornadas de Civil who made the success of this edition possible."
