Professor Helena Barranha among five scholars worldwide selected by the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum

Professor Helena Barranha, a faculty member at Instituto Superior Técnico, has been selected as one of five scholars worldwide to join the inaugural research fellowship program at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.
Her project — “The Multiple Images of a Cosmopolitan Museum: Mapping Visual Representations and Architectural Reinterpretations of the Louvre Abu Dhabi” — will explore how the museum’s architecture reflects cultural convergence and how it is reinterpreted. It will also address the impact of digital tools and artificial intelligence on the perception of museum spaces.
This fellowship represents a recognition of Helena Barranha’s contribution to the international discourse on museums, culture, and technology.
