Professor Ana Tostões, faculty member and researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil) of Instituto Superior Técnico, has been selected to join the jury of the Pessoa Prize 2025, one of Portugal’s most prestigious cultural and scientific distinctions.

Professor Tostões’ presence on this panel of distinguished national figures reflects her outstanding contribution to research, teaching, and the promotion of architecture and the built heritage, both in Portugal and internationally.

Established in 1987, the Pessoa Prize annually distinguishes a Portuguese individual who has stood out in the fields of culture, the arts, science, or public life, contributing significantly to the enrichment of the country’s intellectual and cultural landscape.
