The Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Georesources is pleased to inform that scientific prizes and honorable mentions were awarded to DECivil teachers, within the scope of the cooperation protocol between the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) and Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) . There are several awards given annually, which aim to reward scientific research and promote the publication of articles in internationally recognized journals and publishers. The attribution is made in several areas of knowledge and is intended for teachers, researchers and post-doctoral fellows at ULisboa. In the 2022 edition, each winner receives a subsidy worth 6,500 euros.

Of the 24 scientific, three were awarded to DECivil teachers and researchers:

• Rui Domingos Ribeiro da Cunha Marques - Scientific Area of ​​Economics and Management
• João Pedro Ramôa Ribeiro Correia - Scientific Area of ​​Civil Engineering
• Filipe Manuel Mercier Vilaça e Moura - Scientific Area of ​​Geography and Territory (Physical and Human Geography, Territory, Urbanism and Planning and Transport Systems)

and an honorable mention was also awarded:

• José Alexandre de Brito Aleixo Bogas - Scientific Area of ​​Civil Engineering

The official award ceremony will take place on the 28th of November, at 5:30 pm, in the Main Hall of the Rectory of ULisboa.
