14th International Fatigue Congress to be held in Madeira in 2026, with abstract submissions Open until 31 January

The 14th International Fatigue Congress (IFC14) will take place from 29 June to 3 July 2026 in the city of Funchal, Madeira, bringing together specialists from around the world in the fields of material fatigue and structural integrity. Abstract submissions are open until 31 January 2026.
The event is organised by the Portuguese Structural Integrity Society (SPFIE), in collaboration with the Brazilian Association of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering (ABCM).
Fatigue 2026 aims to promote knowledge sharing and discussion on the latest scientific and technological advances in the areas of fatigue, fracture, structural integrity, and monitoring techniques. The congress will welcome researchers, engineers, and leading professionals from different countries and from both academic and industrial backgrounds.
The programme includes plenary lectures delivered by internationally renowned scientists, as well as thematic symposia dedicated to a wide range of current topics in the fields of fatigue and fracture.
The deadline for abstract submission is 31 January 2026, representing an important opportunity for the scientific community to actively contribute to one of the most relevant international congresses in this field.
